Welcome to the support for home learning page for years 5 and 6. Now that we're moving into the new term, we will be uploading activities on a weekly basis. Many of these activities will be flexible, so can be completed on a computer or on paper if computer/ printer access is limited.
There is also a variety of termly Art and Computing activities available that children can dip in and out of depending on availability or technology/ resources.
When isolated at home, it is recommended to establish a routine. We recommend accessing learning each day as part of this routine. It is also important, wherever possible, that children access fresh air and exercise daily too. If you have one, some time spent in the garden each day will be a vital part of maintaining both physical and mental health. Children should also read independently or with their families frequently while not in school. We recommend that children complete the Joe Wicks PE lessons each morning, as we know many of them already are.
You can email your teacher to support with your child's home learning. I will respond within normal school hours.
