Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Our children based in Emma’s Building have been busy baking, making chocolate yule logs and cake pops.
To make the yule logs they baked two individual cakes then cut them to size and joined them together to make the base. The decoration was added with special Christmas shapes too.
They enjoyed making the cake pops and are all very proud of their creations.
Skills used to create these were: weighing, mixing, sieving, cutting.
The Reception class children have been busy planting native trees in the woodland area at the top of school. Each child dug a hole and planted a tree. The trees were donated by the woodland trust as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy. This is a tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022. Following the death of Her Majesty The Queen, and the wishes of His Majesty The King, the initiative has been extended to plant trees in memoriam to honour The Queen. The children can watch their trees grow and observe changes throughout their time at school.
